Should I Sell My Blackberry? What Are My Options?

Have you been thinking to yourself, “Maybe I should sell my Blackberry?” For some reason or another you find that you no longer need or want it. Maybe you got a new phone. Or, maybe you have changed service providers. There are many ways that you can get rid of your sell broken iPhone. Some options are better than others.

Of course, you can go the old fashioned route of selling it to someone you know, who would love to have the phone that you had. But when you are selling your phone to someone you know; you should be prepared to meet a challenge. Friends and relatives can be the worst people to do business with. The minute you say to them, “I want to sell iPhone”; they are going to ask you how much you want for it.

The next thing you know, you’ll be trying to convince them that the price you want for the phone isn’t too much to ask. No matter how old or new the phone is, they will try to talk you down to a dirt cheap price; simply because you are someone that they have a personal relationship with.  Then, before you even think about it, you’ll either selling old iPhone for far less than it is worth. Or, you’ll be in a position where there is a rift between you and the person because you wouldn’t come down to what they figured was a reasonable price.

The second option is to do what most other people do. They go onto local forums and posts ads about the phone that they’re selling. The only difference here is that you don’t know any of these people, so their feelings aren’t relative to anything. So, if you can’t’ get what you’re asking for, you simply move on to the next buyer. You still have to keep in consideration that there will be a thousand other ads that say “I want selling iPhone”, from tons people trying to sell their old phones. Being able to find a buyer may not be too easy, especially if they can find a phone for less.

Honestly, the best option would be to find a website that will pay for your phone and give you the amount of money that it’s truly worth. If you aren’t sure of the value of your phone, they’ll tell you. By simply typing the model information into the sites search engine, they will quote a price for you. This way you are aware of what they are willing to pay, prior to filling out a bunch of information.

There is one site that will pay for the shipping of your phone; making it free of charge to you. So, you save money at the same time that you are in the process of making a little bit of money. You will be provided with a tracking number and delivery service will be taken care of by the best.

The last thing you will need to do on one of these sites is choose the way you would prefer to get paid. Of course, there is the option to be paid via check; which will be delivered to you through the mail. Or, you can choose to be paid through an online payment service. Either way, your money will be there in a matter of days.

Another plus is that some sites will purchase your phone from you in any condition. Whether it is broken, run down or even missing parts; like the battery or back piece. They will also wipe the memory clean of all of your personal and contacts information, prior to doing anything with your old phone.

While you’re sitting there asking yourself, “where to sell iPhone 3g?”…there is someone who has already made the money that you can be making.  Why shouldn’t you? Knowing that there is a site that makes it easy for you, saves you money and will pay cash for your phone should make the decision easy. Of course, you do have one last option. To let that money sit somewhere in drawer full of junk. That would be a waste, don’t you think?
