Cash For iPhones Review: What to Believe

on 2012-04-12
Our feedback usually comes after we experience a product or service. Feedback is important for product manufacturers and service providers as these customer-generated reactions influence how they can improve and create significant changes to their products or services. That is why, as consumers of these products and services, we must be very careful when providing feedbacks in the form of a testimonial, a review or a note.
Even if we can put anything we want in it, everything should be true. We should not abuse the freedom of expression for selfish means. Let me give you an example. I came across this blog post about a certain refurbishment site called cashforiphones.com. This is a site where people can sell their old electronic gadgets like smartphones, cell phones, and the like. Even before reading the post, I was already looking for ways in which I could get rid of all the electronics around the house. As my family members are quite into gadgets, devices from cell phones to computers just hang around the house. So, I thought of selling them to the company.
After doing a little background and processes checking, I sold the electronics and waited for my money. The process was so very simple and decent that I did the entire job inside the house. Since I live just a block away from a UPS branch, I just had to cross the street to submit the box for delivery. The company offered free-shipping so I did not need to pay for anything. It was a good experience because I had nothing to lose and I did so little effort for it. Just after three working days, I received the payment through my PayPal account.
Even though the quoted price was not met, it was not bad at all. I cannot imagine getting more than a hundred bucks for a broken iPhone. For this reason alone, I wanted to return the favor by writing a review about their services when I read something really unfair for the company. There was this customer who said that the company was a scam just because he was not able to get paid the amount of the quoted price. I know that it would be quite a loss if you are not given a bigger amount for your device.
However, if your device does not really deserve it, then, there is no reason to be mad. I asked this person about his problem and I learned that his phone was already badly damaged. When the company offered him a couple of dollars, he took the money and began posting a lot of negative comments about the company.
I felt really bad because the company did not really deserve it. I am writing this now to advise all the people who will be able to read this to please just say what is fair for a person or for a company. Always remember that playing fair will always bring good results.
